Disney is Making a New”Inspector Gadget” Remake

The men and women who brought Aladdin to existence in live-action are now focusing on doing the same to another cartoon character — Inspector Gadget. The Hollywood Reporter accounts that Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who produced Aladdin are now producing the new remake of the bumbling cyborg-inspector tales.

The film’s script will be written by Mikey Day and Streeter Scidell, that are famous for their work on Saturday Night Live. They’re also writing the reboot of Home Alone that is currently being developed by Disney+.
Co-production from the 1980s and 1990s that followed the titular character, voiced by Don Adams, and his struggles with all the offense business M. A. D., led by the evil Dr. Claw. He utilized a vast range of gadgets in his endeavors. His niece Penny and her dog Brain were the real brains behind him.

The show was adapted to a live-action movie by Disney in 1999. The Movie starred Matthew Broderick as Gadget and Rupert Everett as Dr. Claw.
